My business is a home-based online retail store selling on Amazon.com. I will be selling nationwide. I am looking to sell items on Amazon and live in WI. What all permits and licenses I need?
I want to apply for seller permit can you tell me how ? I'm not sure if that is the right way or not, I want to be a seller on Amazon .Is that the the right way to do it?

If your trade name is a business name other than your full personal legal name, you will need to file a DBA.
For instance, your name is John Doe, and you do business as Best Selling On Amazon By John, the name must be registered with a DBA Biz Name because it is not your full legal name. Also, note that whatever item that you sell or lease, and it is an item that can be touched (i.e., tangible such as equipment, toys, merchandise, electronics, prepared food) requires a state sales tax ID (Seller's Permit) to either buy or sell "Seller's Permit;3 or 3. If you are hiring workers anytime soon, you will need a Federal EIN and a State EIN (employer identification number). Other instances that you will need a federal tax ID are: if you are a partnership, an independent contractor, and a corporation or an LLC.

Hi I live in the UK and have an LLC setup in Wyoming I sell goods on Amazon in the US I need a seller's permit for Wyoming.
